NIMCET 2025 result has been announced at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. Candidates can now access the NIMCET result 2025 online by logging in using the required credentials. The authorities have not used any other mode to release the result of NIMCET. The scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination can be checked through the NIMCET result. Candidates can now download the result in the form of a NIMCET 2025 scorecard. All of the details present in the NIMCET scorecard should be checked carefully before downloading. NIMCET 2025 Result - Qualifying Criteria
Candidates will be declared qualified by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks set by the conducting authority. All qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the NIMCET 2025 counselling and seat allotment procedure. Based on the marks secured by candidates in the exam, a rank will be allotted by following the criteria given below:
- The marks secured in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and English will be multiplied by a factor of 3, 1½, 2 and 1 respectively.
- Thus maximum weighted marks will be 1000.
- The ranking will be based on the total weighted marks obtained by an aspirant.
- In case of a tie, it will be resolved based on weighted marks in Mathematics, then on weighted marks in Logical Reasoning and then on weighted marks in Computer Awareness.
- In case the tie is not resolved by the criteria stated in the above paragraph, then it will be resolved by age i.e., in favour of the older candidate.
NIMCET Exam Pattern
The NIMCET exam follows a specific pattern. It is a computer-based test (CBT) with a duration of two hours. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into four sections: Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and General English. The Mathematics section carries the highest weightage, followed by Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and General English. The total number of questions may vary each year. Negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers, deducting one-fourth of the allotted marks for each wrong response. The NIMCET exam pattern assesses candidates’ aptitude in various areas relevant to the field of computer applications.
